The Writing Process:
1. Prewrite to get ideas and organize them.
- freewriting
- taking notes
- clustering
- outlining
2. Write the first draft.
- write and do not worry about spelling and grammar.
3. Edit: Check and revise your work.
- check spelling and grammar, punctuation
- check organization
4. Write the final copy.
- cross out unnecessary sentences.
- add missing subjects and verbs.
- move sentences.
- make sure the ending matches the beginning.
